d16 turbo problem
I have a problem with my turbo. In first gear it redline fine. But in the other gear when u goes in it goes up to 4500 n sometime 5500 n it choke. It sound not enough gas or spark. I turn to retard and advance it. But nothing work. I found out about putting a resister box on it. I got 440cc injector. So I did. Guess than it was that I needed a resister box. It ran great for couple of days. Now it’s acting up again like before. So I took the resister box off. But it’s still the same. I got another box. So I put a new one on to see if it’s the problem. So its not it... not I’m clueless. I had been doing researching. And I find nothing on this. Trouble shoot. Please I need some help. Don’t no what to do anymore. The car run great on normal daily driving.

first, you need to test the resistance on the injectors to see if they are saturated or not. That will tell you if you need the resistor box.
Then, I would look at the spark plugs. Normally you'll have to undergap than by quite a bit. Running slightly colder plugs would help to.
I'm also noticing the issue that you're not running anything to boost the fuel pressure. You need to get a chipped ecu and tune it, or get an FMU on that thing asap before you melt a piston. Stay out of boost until you do this. Betting yet, disconnect the wastegate so it is always open until you can take care of the fuel issue.

yous are all wrong.... ITS THE OIL PUMP!!!! its runs fine in first b/c the gear is so short then once it trys to hit v-tec it switches from low cam to high cam fuel maps... and when there isnt enouht oil pressure which d series are known for having.... it runs the car in safe mode and wont all v-tec to hit
