D16 internals???
are all d16 internals the same?? pistons in particular...
for some reason srp told someone that pistons from a y8 would notfit in a z6??i dont really see how orwhy... can someone explain?? or is srp full of it and all d16 internals the same?

There are many different D-series pistons. The main difference is the shape/size of the dome/dish of the piston. There is a site somwhere with a comparison of all the d-serices pistons and pictures of them. Try posting on the http://www.dseries.org website, thats where I saw it.
