Default d15b problems

have a 91 civic with a blown motor(dropped a rod) eng code d15b2, now i have a d15b1 installed and i wont start no matter what i do.. tryd both ecu's and cant figure it out.. is it compatible?? i was told by the yard i got it from it wasnt but i couldnt see what the diference is..

so it wont start eh... did you ground your engine harness???.... i've had plenty of people do that..

Start out with the basics first, check for spark, fuel, compression, timing, etc.

yeah thanx for the help turns out just had bad gas still in the tank.. got it running now all we need is a radiator..
