Ok here is the story, i dont know that much about civics so when my harmonic balancer bolt broke in my d16z6 in my 92 si hb I decided to just buy another motor. I brought it to the shop and they ordered a motor from japan with 30k miles. When i went to pick it up today i was shocked to see the block said d15b. I was pissed because i got a 1.5l but they said it is the jdm version of a d16z5 and even has 130hp as opposed to 125hp. Is this true and if so im sure there are many different versions of the d15b is there a way to know what car its out of?
