CTR Intake Cam in B16 Head w/ Stock Valvetrain HELP

I just ordered a CTR Intake Cam for my B16 and was wonderinf if my stock valvetrain will hold up.... Please let me know asap.... So I can order valvetrain if I need it... Thanks... Jeremy

It's not worth the risk IMO, spend money on an ITR valvetrain at least.

You don't want valves kissing pistons.

Yea, you got that right or just buy the itr intake inner &outer springs.

if your b16 head is a 1 gen or you have 1st gen springs/ ret. dont do it.

i have the 99-00 Si Head.... =P and I would never rev past 8,000.... Would it be fine with the 99-00 SI head? i herd that they have dual valve springs on the intake side? is that a true fact?
