CRX: innacurate fuel level guage?

CRX: innacurate fuel level guage?
What can be the problem of a inaccurate fuel level reading?
Basically, whenever I fill up with a full tank of gas, the needle doesn't go all the way up to the "F" sign. At full tank, my needle is in between the half mark and "F."
