Crome Datalogging problems

I purchased Xenocron's DIY tuning package which includes innovate lc-1 wideband, crome pro license, and moates ostrich.
Ostrich works perfectly. Lc-1 is hooked up and i'm getting flawless readings through Logworks.
The problem I am having is getting Crome to connect to my ECU (P72), under the Tuner Comm tab i have all the setting at what they are supposed to be but when i connect i get a Bad Info Received message followed by Could Not Connect to ECU. I have tried many different set-ups and settings (in total about 3-4 walkthroughs that promised to fix my problems). Strange part is I am able to click Live-Tuning and see my engine parameters on the right side.
Example:
RPM: 193
Battery Voltage: 6.Xv
o2 voltage: 0.0
Those readings are obviously off since my car is idling perfectly at 800rpms. I confirmed my battery voltage to be 13.9v and the brown wire coming from the LC-1 is sending a 1.7v signal into D14 of my ECU harness.
So there is obviously a problem with Crome connecting to my ECU and getting the correct information. FYI I am using Xenocron's serial to usb conversion cable, and J12 resistor is cut.
Any Crome users here that could help me out?
Thanks, Johnny.
