Could my head gasket be shot
Well I pulled my plugs today and I noticed that on the ground strap was light green in color, on all four. Compression test shows 300 PSI in all four cylinders, there has been no over heating what so ever. Any info is greatly appreciated
It seems pretty high but I am not too sure what the compression test results would look like from a motor with that high of a compression ratio. If the head gasket were blown you might have some coolant in the oil or vice-versa. I would check both and also think about doing a leakdown test as well.
I've never seen coolant discolor a plug green, it normally makes a plug look like the engine is running lean. Have you been running any kind of gas additive or nitrous?

some plugs can develope a greenish tinge cuase of what they are made of...i think its the copper.
if there was enough coolant to colour the plugs that colour - you would have noticed teh engine overheating and maybe even not running...

you could also start your car and let it idle while the radiator cap is off (when the car is cold of course) and see if there are any bubbles in the coolant. if there are bubbles, your headgasket is blown.
just some black smoke at wot due to running rich because of the high compression, no white smoke, just was wondering why the plugs were light green in color. Compression numbers are the same from when before these plugs turned green
