I've ddone this to my hatch a few years back. Nothing hard about it there's a good diagram and write up somewhere in the 1996-00 civic section.
Its easy depending on what year car you have and what doors you find.
Basicly I supplied positive and negatives to both doors.
Run some fuses inline and that's it.
The right way is to use the floor harness with the doors you pick up but if you have a 96 and pick up 00 doors it gets tricky with the floor harness but that's why I kept it simple and ran my own wiring.
They still work a good 5 years later.

Yeah that'll work.. the hard part is getting the door locks to work I can't remember exactly what you need to do . Try and find the write up on how to do it there's a thread on it.

You could also just get a power window kit and install it on your stock doors and windows, Spall makes a pretty good one, it's the one we use.

You get the kit and pick the switches and switch holders that cover the manual crank shaft and your good to go, not as stock looking as switching doors but probably a lot cheaper. 94
