So everything is hooked up in my b16a2 which i swapped into my 93 ex coupe except a hose that comes off of the thermostat housing (plugged) i guess it hooks into the bottom of where the oil filter is but my oil filter "housing" is bit different than my friends and he too has the same engine...
another hose thats attached to a black can that sits on the firewall is plugged and i guess that one goes to the top of the intake mani..(FITV im assuming)

I just wanted to know if having these hoses un plugged would cause thwe engine not to start..

are you talking about hose 2? or is it a small hose barb on the therm housing?

 

its a much smaller hose i beleive it goes to the oil cooler at the bottom of the oil filt housing
