Default Code 9 CTY??

I am throwing a code, code 9 to be exact. This may sound weird but I have an OBD2 harness in an OBD1 car. I know ghetto right but it wasn't my doing. The plug was butt-connected all over the place so I replaced the plug and sodered everything so it is ok now.

But there is still a code, I was wondering what it could be internally?

Any help is appreciated!!

Does the ignition wire that I ran from the ignition to the starter possibly have anything to do with the code or no? I bypassed the connector and ran it staight to the starter. Any ideas??

I ran two wires directly from the ECU to the distributor (according to the schematic they are for the CYP code) and still is throwing code 9. Could my internal harness where it plugs into my ECU possibly gone bad?

Can anyone help me with this problem or am I on my own..

Figured it out with the help of some close friends, it was a broken wire in the internal harness that was causing the problem.
