OK... here's the deal. I currently have an ACT XTSS (xtreme pp and street/strip disk) in my turbo gsr. it has held up fine so far up to ~300whp. however, in the future i should be making more power. I have my old Exedy 3 puck cerametallic clutch from my turbo LS that also held up to 315whp/280wtq which i only used for about 2 months. The pedal pressure on the exedy was not as hard as the ACT and because of this I'm more confident in the ACT XT pp. I was wondering if it's possible and if it was wise to use the 3 puck exedy disk on the ACT XT pp. That way I'd have a "stronger" disk and pressure plate. or should I just swap the whole clutch out for the exedy?
is the material in the clutch disk's the same? If it is and they are the same diameter, then I would say it would work. You may have to resurface the pressure plate if it has extensive wear on it from the other disk though.

the material is definitaley different. the diameter *SHOULD* be the same... it is the same application. I assumed i'd have to resurface the PP. but just looking for more feedback
