Clutch not gripping as well...
my clutch isnt catching gears as efficient anymore. I have a 00 Gsr with I/H/E and High Flow cat. I am looking towards a new clutch, maybe a exedy or act. I dont want too much of stiffness either. What would be a good clutch? something reliable and dont make any weird noises I been hearing about.
either would be fine.
1st u must look at what your going to do in the future.
people are going to tell you exedy, but i prefer act....dont' know why alot of
people ride exedy's ballz....probably cause its cost effective too...
exedy is a nice clutch for stock replacement and is very cheap
if u want similiar to stock engagement stick with organic disc...soo no 4puck or 6 pucks
pedal pressure refers to which pressure plate you purchase
ACT makes heavy duty, xtreme and max xtreme pressure plates....i have tried out both the HD and XT. HD would be ezier to daily drive on...but XT is the style i like it...nice hard and rough
my suggestion to you is to get:
EXEDY organic clutch - http://www.clutchcityonline.com/special.htm $270
or
ACT HDSS - anywhere cheap $300+
both will last awhile and be stronger than stock...and have light pedal pressure
next thing you should research is FLYWHEELS...

Your clutch is two years old, and already worn? Na. You just need to change fluid. Or change leaking slave/master cylinders. If it is worn, then go with what BoM said.
