Default Clutch Alignment Question

I installed a ACT clutch kit yesterday, but i forgot to put the pilot bearing in. So I took the clutch off installed the bearing and put it back together. I cant for the life of me remember if I aligned the clutch when I put it back together. I installed the transmission, which wasn't that much fun, but my question is if the clutch is in and the trans. is on, could something be off still.

as long as you were able to get the trans on, and the tip of the tranny drive spline in to the pilot bearing, you should have no alignment problems. an alignment tool is to keep the clutch disc in place while installing the pressure plate, but if the tranny slides in, you're fine.

I know what the tool does, but I just wanted to make sure that it couldn't be messed up at all. The tranny is bolted up and every thing seems ok, but if that's not indication that the spline inserted into the pilot bearing, then there is no way to tell unless I take it all apart again....right?

you wouldnt be able to get the tranny bolted on if the spline didnt enter the pilot bearing.
