Default Clearance for rod/main Bearing

Just want to know what rod/main bearing clearance you run?
I'm rebuilding a B18A, the crank was polished and balanced.
With brand new honda bearing, my clearance is .002 on main bearing, thats the service limit.
But 2 Honda technicians told me to keep that clearance.
I buy tighter bearing or not?
And for the rod bearing?
thanks

It's for a turbo engine. I will run a OBD2 oil pump.
Do you recommend to shimed the spring of the oil pump?
thanks
