need help in what would set this code off. Also about how much would I be looking at to fix the problem? Any help would do.

I don't think your going to get a whole lot of responses. I had this problem on a EM1 w/Vortec supercharger and we could never find out what was causing it. I assumed that the belt drive had to do something with it. But since both of you are most likely not running it i'm also interested in finding out some causes.

The only thing I ever really came up with was that the senor was picking up a slight miss or a cylinder that wasn't producing like the others. In our case i think it was picking up a cylinder that was about to go bad cuz the #4 cylinder went down a couple of months later.

I had the same problem later when I blew the motor I checked it and the altenator belt spliced into the wires causing to throw the code so u mite wanna check that out
