Default civic si not starting

Alright, my friend just called me and he accidently started his car with the spark plug wires unplugged. He said he tried again after plugging them back in but it just cranks over.

He doesn't have a ht username so I'm posting it for him. Does anyone have any ideas on what to do though? Thanks

He tried priming the fuel pump so I'm thinking maybe we should disconnect the battery since maybe the ECU noticed something was wrong.

He doesn't know how to check for spark since he just bought a car for driving and not tinkering. I'm heading over there tonight when he gets back from a doctors appointment but plan on checking it. At least I have a few spare rotors just in case. Thanks for the idea, I appreciate it

good news everyone. I followed those instructions you sent me dtapia and the coil pack was bad. I replaced it and the car is now running smooth. Thanks for all your help everyone. My friend may not work on cars much, but he knows about the firing order and where all the wires go lol.
