Default Change generic filter?

I bought one of those ebay short ram intakes a while ago for my 92 teg. it came with some generic filter. I was just curious if it would worth it to go buy a k&n filter for it?

Yes. K&Ns are the best filters, and you'll never need to buy another one for your car. The imitations are crap. You should be able to get one for less than $50. It's not the intake tube that makes the difference in power gains, it's the filters.
