CEL light with Hondata s200...

CEL light with Hondata s200...
Simple question, can you still jump an ECU for the CEL code with Hondata installed into the car or do you have to do it through Hondata with the logger? TIA
Edit: The car is OBD0 running an OBD1 ECU, how do you go about doing this?
