ok, heres the deal. i got a ap2 cd player off a buddy. and i have an eg sedan. i got a reverse radio harness for the ap2 cd player (pigtail) off line. i then wired it to a eg radio harness for an aftermarket cd player. only wires not hooked up are the power antenna wire and the illumination wire. i plug the cd player in, punch in the security code. the radio turns on, radio stations work (fuzzy because i dont have an antenna.) but when i go to put a cd in, it will not take it at all. the little light where it says disc near the eject button is not lit up. im assuming it lights up when a cd is in the player. ive tried hitting the eject button, hitting the cd button, but i cant figure out why it wont take a cd. i hope the cd player isnt broken. any help? thanks!

 

Sounds like that was the reason the OO replaced his and sold this one to you. If everything else is working and it won't take ANY CD you probably got a bum unit.
