Default CBR-MPFI-DPFI TPS compatibility

thats a lot of acronyms... does anyone know if a CBR TPS can be replaced with a DPFI TPS? I am helping out with a small formula car that runs a CBR600 motor (F4i) and the team can't get the proper TPS quickly. They currently have a Haltech TPS installed but decided to switch to the stock Honda ecu. I checked the voltages and that TPS goes from 0-4.2 V or something like that, while Honda is .5-4.5 (I think).
I have a spare DPFI TPS, would this work? I think the MPFI is the same as the CBR except the wires are reversed, and the DPFI is the same as the MPFI but the wires are reversed. does anyone know?
thanks
