Car won't start, no spark?
I have a 95 civic ex just rebuilt the motor on it (z6), new dizzy as well, belts and spark plugs. The car ran for a good 3 days and then the next morning wouldn't start. I checked the dizzy there wasn't any water in it. Check all my grounds, sanded them down cleaned them up. Check all the wires they are all connected. Checked the ACG fuse and that was fine. All the electronics in the car work but when I turn the key, the engine will not turn over. Checked to see if there was any signal getting sent to the spark plug wires using a timing light and there wasn't any. So I'm not really sure where to go from here. Anyone have any ideas?
Yeah, and the starter ground. It has me all confused. Idk what else would keep it from getting spark. Fuses, wires, dizzy all good. THe dizzy is like a 2 weeks old.
So I understand, the engine will turn over, [crank] as in starter motor is working but engine will not fire up, [start and run] is that correct?
I also assume you have checked and there is no ignition, [spark] at the spark plugs, is that correct?
If so, start by checking to see if you have 12V+ on the black/yellow lead at the distributor when ign. switch is in the run position, also make sure there is 12V+ on the black/yellow lead when cranking to start. 94
