Car won't idle when warm
I have a 1999 Honda Civic EX, 1.6L SOHC. When the car warms up, it will not idle, the RPM will drop real low and die. If I give it enough gas it hold it at 1000RPM, it is fine. It also starts up fine after it stalls. Thanks for any help.
Did you do any work to it recently?
Check your vacuum lines. When I worked on my intake manifold, I forgot to put the TPS sensor back in. It will start up fine when it's cold since rpm's are high when the motor isn't warmed up. As soon as it got to operating temperature, it would shut down unless I gassed it trying to keep the rpm's up.
Check all your sensors in the IM.

Maybe its your IACV. Just a thought. I have the exact opposite problem. Mine stalls out when cold but once warmed up it idles fine. Maybe you should check you base idle.
Start the car up and hold at 3000 rpm until the fan comes on. Diconnect the round 2 pin connector from the Idle Air Control Valve. Idle speed should be 500-600 rpm. If its not, then adjust the screw on the throttle body untill its within specs. Shut the car off and reattach the 2 pin connector. Remove the back up radio fuse which is a 7.5 amp fuse for 10 seconds. You will find that fuse in the engine bays fuse box. If that didnt help let me know.

Carmax had 5 quarts of oil in the crankcase, after I changed the oil and filled it with 3.5 quarts it runs fine. The only car I worked on before this was equipped with a small block chevy, oil wouldn't slow it down. Thanks anyway fellas.
