Put in my new block and all seems ok. Its a JDM B18C block in a 1996 GSR everything else stock. When i drive and step on the gas to accelerate the car will just not go faster. It feels like a flat spot and then it will power through it and jerk foward. Happens around 3k rpm. I'm throwing 3 codes but one has me puzzled. A code 54, 23 and i THINK code 2. The light flashed two long flashes. Am I right that it is a code 2 cause the Helms says nothing about a code 2.

 

2 long = 20, ELD. But I don't know what that would have to do with your troubles.
My Helm ('95) doesn't say anthing about 54 - what's that?

54 is crankshaft speed fluctuation code. It's only in OBD2 cars Yeah i figured out what 2 long blinks were. Brain wasn't working for a minute. Thanks.
