Default can I re-use these pistons ???

One of my valves bent.....took the head apart and found this ....can this block be reused it has some light rust on the cylinder walls I removed most of it with WD-40

# 2-3


# 4-1


now this is the piston I'm skeptical about #3

The pistons look fine. The block looks ok too. Question is are the rings ok...only way you could tell if they're still in good shape is a compression test.

sorry i'm a noob when it comes to building engines but how can I do a compression test with no head on the block?

i would not use thoes pistons.....#3 scares me with the lil piece misisng.....upgrade pistons while the motors apart

i wouldnt use them that dent can lead to a hot spot just get new pistons espically if ur gonna go for more power n u should get the cylider walls cleaned up while its already apart......u dont wanna have to spend more money later when it blows

that cyl with deffinatly blow if you use that piston... hot spot= detonation!
