Default can hondalog cable cause problems with chipped ecu?

I recently added the honda log cable to the cnr part of the ecu to try to log. it didnt work right and was never able to log. did not cut J12. however yesterday the engine really lacked power on acceleration and then today is just bogging down when you give it gas. Im thinking this is the cable causing this but removed it and no luck. maybe flash is screwed up? what do you think. It did run fine with the cable installed for a day or 2 b4 this problem
started up.

the cable has nothing to do with how the engine will run unless you got it shortign out inside the case.

shorting out sounds like a possiblity since it happened so close to when the cover was taken off. maybe something is making contact with the plate?? I need to check the cel and go from there as well if the stock ecu doesnt work.
