Default which cams for b16

i recently bored out my b16 to 84mm high comp its sleeved/ect im planing on getting my head done like port/polish valves/springs/retainers/ect anyways its about 11.5.1 comp when im done i was woundering what type of cams i should go with and im planning on juiceing to a 50 shot maybe but some people are telling me to go with stock gsr cams . anyone have any other suggested really appreciate it THANKS

hum seeing that you went with a 11.5 cr I woundn't go to wild on the cam due to the valve to piston clearance unless you pistions really have a deeper valve relif

I would go with itr and try those out.

I would go for either CTR cams if you want to remain OEM on the head, Skunk2 stage 2's, Toda B's or JUN Type II for that application...

It VERY much depends on the type of pistons you have, though, and what layer headgasket you have.

well i have je 84.mm high dome pistons i still need a headgasket not sure on whats size of headgasket ethier im thinking ctr myself im pretty sure i need a thicker headgasket though i just need to know what size maybe a 2 layer mugen .47 and what about the bore size do i need a custom 84.mm

yes, you will need an 84mm headgasket. You might want to pick one up for a B20.
