I plan on swapping my motor after my car is paid off, which is just over a year. I want something thats going to give it a little more pep until then. I was thinking a cheap turbo setup, but thats too much work an too expensive. Can anyone reccomend an SOHC cam for a daily driver that will net some noticable gains? Will I need to buy anything in addition to the cam? If a cam really isnt the way to go for what I want, is there anything kinda of small (pricewise) to give my single cam turd some more go?
