Default Cam identification needed. (pics)

Okay, Ive got a set of whats supposed to be GSR cams, but after closer inspection Im not so sure.

Heres a comparison of cam lobe height measurements:

Int1 Int2 vtec Exh1 Exh2 vtec
B16 34.9 33.0 36.2 32.7 34.6 35.6

GSR? 35.2 33.0 35.6 32.0 34.6 35.1

I checked my B16 #'s against Helms and they are correct.
Also it is my understanding that B18c's have slightly diff. rocker lengths (rocker ratio), true?

Judging by these profiles, theres no way these are gonna give me more lift than than my stock ones....

GSR intake:

B16 intake:

If anyone has a set of GSR's laying around, could you take a look and see what #'s/letters are stamped between lobes on them, and how many rings are on the end.

TIA,
Dave

Here are some ID pics of the 'GSRs'

That exhaust cam is definately a GSR cam. Got a shot of the distributor side of the intake cam you have?

For one, I think you got your first 2 images criss-crossed, cuz GSR cam(s) do not have weak cam lobe specs as you show. The cams that DO have a weak lobe spec are the older 89-91 B16A cams, AUTO 89-91 B16 cams especially, which I believe you have.

This to me, really looks like it would be from an auto B16A engine:

..see how the mid & secondary lobes almost match each other in height? yep, auto B16 cams are a sick sick joke.

Those raised numbers are not a sure way of telling the cams apart either.

If you can post up a good-clear images of both GSR & B16 intake cam's distributor side, that would help out.

That's exactly what I was going to say Katman... I totally agree, not going to hear/feel much of a VTEC x-over with that, only gain a hair of lift and little duration over the secondary...
