i have a cable tranny with a hydro conversion, as the topic states. my problem:
clutch worked perfect... took tranny off, put it on a new motor. hooked everything up, bled system. only pedal pressure for the last inch or two. tried to bleed again, now i get NO PEDAL PRESSURE. i pump and pump.. fluid is going through as i bleed. i can tell because i keep having to refill the reservoir. one thing i noticed is the conversion linkage on the TRANNY doesn't move up and down like it USED to. it is stuck up, in the "disengaged" position. when the pedal is released, it doesn't go back down.
anyone have this problem??
please help!!!
i'm guessing when the tranny was put back on.. the fork didn't line up right?? so it's probably flopping around INSIDE the tranny..??

FOLLOW UP:
found problem for anyone that may need the solution:
my cable-to-hydro conversion places the slave cylinder into a position where the bleeder is at the very bottom, with the SC pushing UP on the lever the cable used to go in. this causes any air in the system to be pushed and trapped up in the SC ABOVE the bleeder valve.
once we figured THIS out, i was able to purge the rest of the system of air. the clutch works fine now.

I just did the same conversion, did you notice that your clutch doesn't engage nearly as smoothly as it did with the hydro tranny,(it could be my exedy hi perf. clutch) and what rear engine mount bracket did you use? I have a 91 ls tranny and I have a 94 ls rear mount bracket and the holes to the engine side of the bracket don't line up.

i noticed that the tranny feels different, but it's just as smooth. it's hydro all the way down, no reason for it to feel rough. i went from a hydro tranny with a street disk to a cable/hydro with an extreme PP and 6-puck.. sooooo... that would probably explain the different feel. i'm sure the cable feels different in some way than the hydro, but it's not bad.
are you asking what rear engine mount i used or which tranny mount? i wasn't able to use a tranny mount. the mount that fits my tranny doesn't line up on the car.
as for the rear motor mount, i just used the same mount that other b-series motors use for DCs
