Guys. i tried putting a/c back into my car this weekend. ran into soem problems.. first of all. i got all the lines (piping) in the engine bay from a 88-89 dx. heres my setup on my car 90 si w/ b16a3 with HCP motor mounts. and im using the 94 Delsol A/c Bracket.
First when i tried going to put the bracket in. the Crossmember was in the way by like 1/2 an inch. on the bottom of the bracket.. so i unbolt my crossmember and let it down to put the bracket on . Now i put the 94 delsol A/c Compresser in. it even take more space. Now that the a/c compresser is on the bracket.. I go try to put my crossmember back up . I find out that the compressor is now in the way . i cant put the crossmember back on. the compressor is now sittin lower than the bracket inself.
The other problem i have is that the piping does not run correctly onto the compressor. It seems like i have to bend it alot to get it right. even tho i got one on.. the piping was 1 inch too short..
If anyone who got through this problem.. and know how to fix it please help. Soi have to go get custom piping? and how do i go on gettin the compressor and bracket sit correctly
thanks guys..

You may want to think about using one of the aftermarket cross-members for additional clearance.
As for the hoses, I'd recommend that you ask somebody that has a similar car if you can look under their hood. It is possible to have custom hoses made up if you have to. Stop by a Jeep dealer and ask them who does their "dealer" installed units. These are "kits" but normally have to be customized a bit by the installer. (BTDT on my 64 Chevelle with custom AC from Vintage Air)

Different a/c compressors have different a/c lines. You need to match the lines to the compressor in order for things to work without having excessive bending.
yah seems like your having ur share of fun. Why arent u using a HASport a/c bracket that uses a factory 88-91 civic A/C compressor and then you dont have to worry about doing custom lines.
Thats what i did
