Default Bypass of coolant to Throttle Body

I'm installing a Skunk2 IM and had a couple of ideas I wanted to run by everyone...

I was wondering if I could bypass the coolant fittings that run to my throttle body. I believe they are for the fast idle. I was thinking about simply getting a longer hose and running it from the fitting on the head all the way back to the IAC valve on the back of the Intake Manifold. Wold this work / cause any complications / keep my intake charge any cooler?

I was also wondering if I could route the EVAP hose to the little vacume fitting on the back of the Skunk2 IM if I used a vacume line reducer. Otherwise the instructions say to use a T fitting on the PCV hose to supply vacume to the EVAP.

Thanks for the help guys.

the fast idle thermo switch needs coolant to function properly , the iac just needs it to keep from freezing up - so goin around the fast idle switch wouldnt be a good idea-

You can bypass the bottom of the throttle body and run the coolant line straight to it's next destination. The reason coolant goes through the bottom of the TB is to keep it from icing up in cold climates.
I see you live in MN, so I would NOT recommend bypassing the TB. There are negligable gains doing that anyway.

This might help you learn something about what you are going to do. I would not recommend doing this.

no gains on dyno from bypassing the coolant lines.

Keep them there!

Thanks for the replies guys. I guess I'll hold off on doing this if there are no gains from it. Anyone have any idea on my EVAP question.
