I found a clutchmasters stage three for sale. The guy said he only used it for 2 months.

What should I look for on the clutch to make sure it is still working properly?

 

You should try doing a search on this topic. It has been asked before and basically, buying a used clutch is like buying used underwear. You never know what kind of abuse that clutch took regardless how old it is. Just a thought.

what kind of car is this for and how much horsepower is it outputting? for a stage 3 clutch you should be making hella power. buying that used stage 3 clutch is like buying something usless, like an oversized hat. you dont really need the stage 3 clutch if you dont make a lot of power. plus its a waste of labor charges if youre gonna have a shop change it.

I would never buy a used clutch. I would want to break a clutch in on my own vehicle from day one.

i have some used underwear... good condition... no skid marks... works great... give me an offer... oh... buy 5 pair and get one free! (no warranty on the free one though)
