building your own brakes?
I thought that I saw something on here a bit ago about building your own fast brakes type kit, now I can't seem to find it.. I know that I need corrado rotors, what else? EX calipers and knuckle? will that allow for the caliper to be spaced out far enough to make the kit work? any help here would be good, as the car is feeling a little weak to me and I'm still adding more HP to it.
Civic EX or Integra (non-ITR) calipers
Aluminum relocation brackets (call Brian H from Fastbrakes)
When you call him, ask for the fasteners as well.
I'd ike to add that since I got 11" front kit, my brake pads last longer than 25K miles. Great kit!

I would just stick to buying one of the fastbrakes' kits, they are of good quality(I have the front 11" SpecR kit), and by the time you spend all that time and money to do it you may not actually save that much, so unless you've just got easy access to the all the tools and hardware to do the work, then I would probably just buy Brian's stuff, its up to you, I myself thought about doing it myself but in the end decided to just purchase from Brian at FB.
I have to agree. Brian's kits are probably the most affordable and reliable kits on the market. The time and money it'll take for you to find everything and put it together, you could have saved it by getting Brian's kit.
Call Brian at Fastbrakes for your application... I bought his predrilled Prelude rotors, junk yard late model Prelude VTEC calipers(with less than 20k on them... read: no rebuild...pretty, new looking), and some cheap carbon pads(grocery getter car)... machined .157" off the mounting surfaces(should have probably gone about .150" to .154 for a perfect fit) and slapped them on for less than $250 total... you can take your calipers to a machine shop and get them machined for $20-$50... that's if your application even needs it. This fit under the OE wheels of my below listed 98' SC GSR... barely...
