Default Building a gsr head (recommendations)

Okay i searched but didnt really coming up with anything ive got my head i just picked up at the machine shop getting checked and it's good it's a 94 gsr head im going to turbo car eventually so what parts are recommended for na to turbo use and im looking for maybe 300-400 hp and i don't really want to break the bank.

if you are talking about internals, you can always benefit from some aftermarket valvetrain to accommodate the higher hp produced by the turbo. a set of cams would do wonders too.

i'd most definitely ask the machine shop to do a valvejob if you already haven't

are you going to daily your motor? or is it for race only?

if you are going to daily it and plan on driving the motor for awhile i hear the Crower cromoly retainers last for quite a while, matched with their valvetrain

but if you just want something for a piece of mind, skunk2, supertech, eibach.. etc will work



and for a valvejob i meant a 3 angle valve job

What do you think about valves get new ones or keep the old and is it alright to use new stock valve stem seals with this setup

get new ones if you already got the head off might as well do it right get new ones so u have no problems down the road

i would get a 3 angle valve job done. some new valve seals. get the head all cleaned up and throw the stock cams and valve train in the head unless your revving higher than get some supertech duel springs. the stock head and valve train will flow easily to 400hp
