Bronze valve guides

Whats the deal with these kind of guides??Some people say there good,and some say there bad??Anyone here have had any experience with them???

these are good for stainless steel valves but are not necessary...think of it as extra insurance...i sent my head to portflow and they said that it is not necessary for SS valves
