im gonna be running a pretty mildy built b16 and wanted to get opinions on if these will be overkill for my motor

stock bore and stroke

ctr piston on pr3 rods

crower springs and retainers and flat flaced valves

oem 3 layer headgasket

i believe compression will be 12.1:1

opinions???

i guessing its your DD so i would say that s3 is overkill...bc s2's are perfect for street apps

but power wise and etc u think it will be fine, ill prolly be finding another car for DD

 

well since you have the head work done and you are planning on getting another car than yea go for it...just overcammed cars sound better than they run so make sure your head is up to par
