Breaking in a Low comp motor?

Breaking in a Low comp motor?
is it ok to do a fairly hard break in on a low comp motor?
specifcally the motor is a Sleaved B16, pretty much rebuilt bottom and head, port and polish, good cams, etc. not running an external fuel pump yet, or aftermarket injectors or fuel rail. Compresson is 9:1
