Default Brand New Head Of Ebay?

I've been looking at brand new heads on ebay for a b16. Just wanting to know if anyone has used one? They say that they are made out of high quality material than oem and bronze valve guide liners. Are they actually any good?

Thanks

Nath

There was a thread about this, i think, some time ago. They are making these castings due to the increasing lack of viable b16a heads. Since the later castings has out of center valvestem guide holes that earlier models didn't, this came about.

People have seen the castings, supposedly Endyne has a few and likes them. Scuttle-butt, etc.

EDIT: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=539176 <-- Might possibly be it or the talking of it.

its prolly an aftermarket head cast in a china factory. maybe japan, maybe....

it should be the exact same spec as OEM. (and it should come bare, i think w/o guides)

the company i work for sells "oem quality replacement parts for your import" and we get our bare heads from china and have no problems.

i do recall a more recent disscussion about those heads in the all-motor forum. for the price they are probably not bad. they do require final valve seat and port work and they do not come with valves lifters or LMA's.
