Brake booster or Alternator problem?
Ok, heres my problem. When im driving and im about to come to a stop, ill put in the clutch and the idle will drop to 750, then raise back up to 1500 and will only drop back down to 750 once I come to a complete stop. If im sitting there idleing and I press the brake pedal repeatedly the idle will go from 750 up to about 1500. From my knowledge theres two things that could be causing this problem, brake booster, or my alternator. Also, when I have my music turned up my lights will dim when theres alot of bass. Want some inuput for what other people think it could be, one of these that I listed or somthing else.
I know pics get people to come to threads, so heres a pic of my car.

I don't know for sure what your problem is but I would think it would have to deal with the brake booster. I guess the real test to it would be to pull your master cylinder break booster line off the plenum, plug/cap it with something, and press in the brake. If so and your problem irratic idle problem is gone, it would seem as it has something to do with vacuum. If it still jumps up and down it's probably electrical, possibly the alternator and/or ELD... Sorry I can't help more, Good Luck
I did that, and when I presed on the break the idle didnt jump, but when I gave it gas it would rev up then down to about 1000rpm teh back up to 1500, then it would settle down back to 750rpm.
I replaced some of the vacume lines. I tried to locate them all with a vacuum diagram I have. But its for a EF and I think the EG lines are differant. You wouldnt happen to have a vacuum line diagram for a EG would you?
