Default bottom end advice

I have a B18C GSR, the head is being P&P with installed REV racing valves, titanium retainers and dual valve springs. I still have the stock GSR cams because I will turbo the engine and need to find some turbo cams correct?

Now I am researching on what to do with my block and bottom end. I have read pages and pages on Bore vs. stroke but I am not sure which way to go. I like the idea of stroking to a 2.0L but I do want the motor to be durable.

I will be sleeving the block to withstand boost regardless to the route I take and changing pistons to lower compression. But as to the crank and R/S ratios I have no clue

In addition, the car will be a daily driver but will see some track time. Thanks ahead of time for any suggestions

in my opinion, it doesn't matter what brand of rod or pistion ........ you are gonna run. The most important is "who" will be the one put everything together if you want a durable bottom end.

A shop definately will be doing it for me. If I were to buy a DART block and piece together my own internals would that be a good way to go? It's the same price almost if I were to sleeve my B18 block and everything. The dart B18 Block has a 226mm deck height so I would need diff rod lengths right? and I can get it at an 84.5mm bore. Therefore, if I'm correct with a 92mm stroke with a forged crank that would make it a 2.0L solving my bore vs. stroke situation.

I would just need some aftermarket rods probably eagle or some brand but as to which length I would need in order to get the right Rod/Stroke ratio is beyond me I'm not good with those numbers. I definately don't want anything slapping the cylinder walls.

Add some low comp pistons to go along with that and what else would I need in order to complete the bottom end build?

Dart is a very good way to go, and cheaper than a stock oem block. Eagle makes a nice stroker crank (95 mm) w/ there H beam rods, that way you can get even more displacement out of it...just a thought

Yeah the 95mm stroke and the 84.5mm bore will give me a 2.10 liter but that crank along with h-beam rods and some pistons what else do I need before I give it all to the shop to put in and balance everything.

Where does the Rod/Stroke ratio come in at how do I determine the right rod length or does the shop take care of all that??
