So in all fairness I am a nube to this but I noticed under my engine bay there is a blue plaque that says type gsr-g , dc2 and seven numbers... anyone can tell me where these numbers come from? Don't seem to match my vin...

 

if its on the radiator support (front of the bay and not where the VIN is on firewall) and its blue (like in the attached pic i googled), its probably from another market, i usually see those on JDM front radiator supports...what does your front end look like jdm or regular? possible other countries got the blue plaque but not america AFAIK
