Blown Headgasket
I've got a blown headgasket on my 94' GSR. I talked to a guy who said that he could fix it for $200 as long as the car would idle. Right now it's not. I changed the oil and put in some Mobil 1 Synthetic, and bought new sparkplugs, but haven't put them in yet. It still won't idle with just the changed oil. So that's the sum-up, here are my questions...
Will putting in brand new sparkplugs give it a higher chance of idling, and if so how high is the chance? If that doesn't work, what is the usual procedure of getting a headgasket fixed, and how much will it cost? I just want my car to be running again by spending as little money as possible. I'm not worrying about the long term.
So, any advice would be great. Thanks a lot guys.

I think Honda dealers charge $600 for parts\labor, or in that neighborhood.
You 100% sure it's the headgasket? What led you to believe this? Foulded spark plugs could mean a poor idle. Swap in the new ones and see.

My car was overheating like crazy and wasn't driving right. I had the radiator replaced and fluid levels checked, the mechanic told me I have a blown head gasket...
Could be the water pump, not the headgasket. If the gasket is blown, your car will blow white smoke out the exahust. Blown HG's wont necessarily lead to overheating. That sounds more like a dead waterpump... either way not very easy to fix.... sorry bro.

Well if its a blown HG or broken waterpump. Kill 2 or more birds with one stone. Switch out the waterpump, timing belt, belt tensioner, ac/ps/alt belt, and head gasket.
Well I just did my bros 92 DA. I did all the above for about $100/parts $0/labor. Thank god for ebay and craftsman tools.
