hey i drive a egb18cturbo withb18 gearbox no lsd, stock clutch and flywheel
yesterday i thought il give it ago launching in 2nd gear as i launched revs were at 8000rpm and just stayed still there and then a big BANG my clutch pedal went really soft but still springing and i could hear small pieces droping off my car.So i had a look and seen a preey big crack on the gearbox,im thinking maybe my clutch failed?my gearbox is maybe still repairable?i tried starting the car but heard small metal pieces moving around while trying to start engine so left it there. any help would be apprectiated

 

it looks like you exploded your differential,
where is the tranny cracked?

thats what i thought,but would that of damaged my crank?

 

well; it will really be a speculation untill you actually see the damage.
i doubt it could of bent the crank, but flywheel bolts could of messed up the crank
