Default blackworks vtec conversion kit . . .any good

Ive been searching and searching for days but came up empty handed. Googled it and something from about 2 or 3 years ago popped out but cummon nobody EVER bought one after how many years. What do you guys think of this and even a review would be great. Price is cheap compared to golden eagle and I noticed they dont have the tap for the thread or maybe i just didnt see it in the picture. Let me know what you guys think.

Since everyone gets the Golden Eagle and no one gets this what does that tell you? This is where common sense and critical thinking come into to play. How about YOU get it and report back? This is called taking a chance to satisfy a curiosity.

Dont flame up now. I do have the golden eagle kit but I was just wondering if someone ever bought one from blackworks thats all. Is there anything wrong with just asking a simple question of " did somebody ever bought one a used it"? Relax a$$hole!!!!!!

I gave you an answer. Because posting a response to a question posed in a public forum should be expected. Sorry if a common sense approach to contemplating this question upsets you.

So you HAVE the GE kit. Now let me answer a question with a question. WTF does it matter then if someone ELSE bought the Crapworks kit? You didn't list any criteria to your question other than price. So what are you asking people to respond? "Yes. I bought the kit." Is that it? You posted in a TECH FORUM and asked a question that has NO TECH IN IT.

Now. If you want to take it to the juvenile level and start name calling then go for it if it makes you feel any better. That's what I think about no one apparently buying a kit that you didn't either.

Obviously you never bought one and tried it. As you can see in the next post someone actually did buy it but never made a review. Wouldnt this thread be helpful for anybody that was wondering how the product was?

THANK YOU!!!!! a very simple answer and to make it better they used both golden eagle and blackworks and yet same results. Quick estimate on how many miles are on each car? I have a golden eagle kit but out of curiosity I just wanted to know how the blackworks are. Thats just about it. I used golden eagle on my other b20vtec build and it wasa nice product thats why I bought the same exact thing.

Still don't get the point. All I see is that someone bought a knock-off part to help undercut the business that came up with it but without any proper R&D of their own. And knowing this information gets you what? Next time you need to use a conversion kit you'll go with the Crapworks kit and help drive legitimate businesses out of business to save a buck? That was your only criteria right? They were the same in your mind but one cost less.

You asked what people thought? Well that's what I think.

WAK WAK WAK. . . . thats enough. I know theres more people out there that purchased these items but are hidden in the dark because of people like you. Its a free world my friend. You dont have to go with what other people think.

That was my original question.
He wants to feel like he's part of the cool clique I guess. Because there's no purpose to this thread.

Does your motor leak a lot of oil without the Dowel Pins?

of course not. dowel pins are used to seat the head on the block even. With headstuds, you dont need them. the headstuds allow you to place the head perfect on the block.

dowel pins are indeed necessary. they also make sure your headgasket stays in place when you are installing.
