Default Bent Valve ...just above the valve guide...

Ok, some how some way i managed to slightly bend this valve just above the valve seals ever so slightly. So, to see how bad it was..i put the cam in with the rocker (without the spring) and rotated the cam with my hand pushing on the valve acting as a spring..and as soon as the cam reaches peak lift...the valve ever so slightly sticks in the valve guide. IS there anyway i can get this straightened out?

Buy yourself a new valve you don't want to put it in and find out it won't work then have to tear it apart again. I don't think you can get the straightened.

I have no idea how it got bent there but you'll have to replace the valve, you can't straighten it,and probably the guide. It would be hard to imagine it not damaging the guide top.

I find it hard to believe that you can bend a valve by removong it. They are built pretty tough.
