I just got the new benen industries fuel rail from jhpusa.com, and was wondering what do I do with the end of the rail where the original fuel line slides on and that nut goes the end? This does not have one, its just a nipple about 2 inches long with a threaded end and screws in.
I'm assuming a hose slides on the nipple and you clamp it, but that doesn't sound like a reliable idea... but any suggestions to what I should do? Would this be okay? I searched for it on google, but nothing dealing with that "nipple" style fuel rail (I guess because this is a brand new fuel rail)
Anyone have suggestions to how to get it to work on my car? (Its going in a 92 bseries civic dx hatch) ill post pictures soon...
Thanks!

is this the one?
I wouldn't know why they used an npt fitting on a fuel rail. My only suggestion would be to buy a set of -6an fitting and a plug for the other end.

You did know that once you click on the thread you can "SEARCH THIS THREAD" and type in "FUEL RAIL FITTING" to pull up relevant posts from ONLY that thread, right?
I thought a step like that would be much faster than waiting for people to reply to his post. That's what I get for trying to help though.
what i did is run the fuel line into the barbed fitting and put a little clamp around it, hasnt ever leaked or anything
And depending on what car this is your fuel line might not be long enough

Sorry to lead someone to the answer. I don't want him to have to read anything, I just told him where he could find the answer. It's up to him to want to read.

92 Civic DX hatch with a LS. so did you cut that 90 degree metal line? and just run that tube and stick a clamp on it? I went to a local performance shop, and to run 2 90 degree AN fittings+ enough braided line, it only came out to be $32. Ill prolly do that lol
Yep, that's the exact one, there is already a plug on the drivers side, so your sayin to try a -6an where the fuel line goes? Is there a cpmpany where I could just buy that -6an fitting w/ the braided hoses and connects to the fuel filter? Thanks for the replys so far!

Ok, I cut the banjo that slides on the rail off, and slid the tube on the cut tube on there...
Downside of this, is that I had to run it (temporarily) over the intake because it was too short, which made it ghetto.. and as a result, the tube ended up getting a rip in the tube.
Now I ran a 45 degree off the rail attached to a 3/8ths AN which ran thru about a foot of stainless braided line, and then went to another 45 degree angle AN fitting, that attached to a russel's fittings banjo nut. All of this cost $55,but no leaks and looks great!
Thanks for all the replys, and hopefully this is useful for others buyin the same rail.
