having trouble keeping my battery in place. i can't seem to locate the factory hardware and the kits at <gulp> pepboys doesn't work. i've been trying to fab something up but nothing's solid enough yet. any ideas/suggestions?
-i'm autocrossing the car in stock, so i can't relocate it to the trunk

 

Have you tried a boneyard for a used one? Or a dealership for a new one?

The only other thing I can think of is... keep trying to fab one. Eventually, through trial-and-error, you should be able to come up with SOMETHING that works.

 

tried the yard with no luck. i'm tryin to keep it lo-buck so i rarely go to the dealer. if i go to the dealer i think i'd have to get everything cause i think i'm missing SOMETHING. but i have some more fab ideas that i need to try. it just dropped to 24degrees here in ny, so i have to put this on hold.
