bad ECU....will i get spark or not

if my ECU is bad or unplugged...would my engine crank up but no will spark going to my engine..and just wont start up?..or will it have spark and wont start up...thanks

Depends on which part of the ECU is bad. When it is unplugged there will definitely be NO spark.
