Default B20... lightweight components

I am going to get a spoon 4 kg flywheel, and a CTR crank pully (drives only the alternator)on a B20.. considering the weight difference on both sides of the motor, is it a good idea to get the bottom end balanced? I don't like to waste cash, and blow up motors.

What would be a good clutch for a b20 with mild mods? (Flywheel, pulley, cams, intake manifold, LSD tranny, Z-10 R.R) I do want to be able to put the power down

Also, how can i get this low rev pig to rev a bit higher? I am looking for about 8500-9000 peak rpm. I want to be able to give some of the vtec guys a good run

Thanks for your input!

If you want a high reving engine get a b16 or b18c, the b20 is not made for reving and theres no point since it makes it power down low. The higher you rev doesn't always mean more power. If you are set on it make it a crvtec and change the valvetrain.

My friends CRVTEC is bored to 84.5mm has JE 13.0:1 pistons stock rods, Portflow b16 head, JUN type 3 cams and he revs that poo poo to 9,500 all day long. He says the rods are fine as long as you get ARP bolts. If i were to build this same setup i would just go with Eagle rods, they cost about 300-350. Makes power all the way up.......
